1. Who we are

ForgeRecover is a Shopify application developed by ArjNexus Forge. We help Shopify merchants recover abandoned carts through AI-powered reason detection and automated recovery emails. Our website is forgerecover.com.

2. What data we collect

When you install ForgeRecover, we collect and store the following data from your Shopify store:

Store domain, store name, and owner email address
Abandoned checkout data including cart value, items, and customer email addresses
Order data used to detect recovered carts
Your app configuration settings (recovery rules, discount preferences, timing)

3. How we use your data

We use the data collected solely to operate ForgeRecover. Specifically:

To detect abandoned carts and identify the likely reason for abandonment
To send recovery emails to your customers on your behalf via Resend
To track whether abandoned carts are subsequently recovered
To display revenue metrics in your ForgeRecover dashboard

We do not sell, rent, or share your data or your customers' data with any third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data storage and security

Your store data is stored securely in a Supabase PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS infrastructure. Access tokens used to communicate with the Shopify API are encrypted at rest. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data.

5. Customer data (your shoppers)

ForgeRecover processes your customers' email addresses and cart data solely for the purpose of sending recovery emails on your behalf. This data is not used for any other purpose. Recovery emails are sent only to customers who have initiated a checkout on your store.

6. Data retention

We retain your store data for as long as ForgeRecover is installed on your Shopify store. When you uninstall ForgeRecover, your store data and associated cart data are flagged for deletion within 30 days.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email below. For requests related to your customers' data, please contact us directly.

8. Third-party services

ForgeRecover uses the following third-party services to operate:

Supabase — database and backend infrastructure
Resend — transactional email delivery
Cloudflare Pages — website hosting
Anthropic Claude API — AI-powered abandonment reason detection (Growth and Pro plans only)

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify merchants of any significant changes via email or through the ForgeRecover dashboard.
